“Smile” is a short narrative film documenting the struggle of Isla, days before her wedding, as her insurance company attempts to deny her coverage.
I was the production designer on this film and designed six separate spaces. I redressed a loft to appear as five different locations, including a cubicle, dentist’s office, waiting room, apartment, and hospital room. The 6th location was a large exterior wedding. I also manufactured fake insurance bills, insurance cards, and custom posters.
