My first experience in filmmaking was creating short stop motion projects, both 2D and 3D. This experience gave me a basic understanding of armatures and puppetry, which I expanded upon in my college career.
The largest puppet I’ve built is the blue and purple monster shown below, It was for a short horror film called “I Live With You”. The puppet features blinking eyes, a moving jaw, detachable fingers, and an arm counterweight.
There are also images from the Emstage production of This Girl, where I worked as the puppetry and projections assistant.
The remaining puppet was a class assignment for the course Making Monsters.
