My first experience with filmmaking was creating short stop-motion animations. I have built basic armatures, clay figures, and multiple 2D paper puppets. I built everything in the following photos and videos, including backgrounds and structures.
The 2D paper animations were a final class assignment in which I needed to create a 30-second short narrative. I chose the medium of stop motion animation and built and filmed both of these within a week.
The 3D animations were both personal projects. One is a recreation of the Mad Men title sequence and the other is a short narrative based on Tom Lehers The Masochism Tango.
